Developed at the request of the building industry, the ThermaCAM Image Builder is an image-assembling software that lets you create a large, composite infrared image out of many small images.
With ThermaCAM™ Image Builder software you can combine and align up to 36 individual images in order to create a high resolution overview image. You may have the individual images automatically aligned or you can adjust them manually. For instance, if you would like to include an infrared image of a large furnace in your inspection report and the furnace area of interest is too large for your infrared camera's field of view, you can solve this by storing a number of images of parts of the furnace. Transfer the stored images to your PC and open them in the Image Builder program. Arrange the images in the correct order, and let the Image Builder align the small images and create a new high resolution image of the complete furnace area. The resulting image is fully radiometric and can be analyzed in other FLIR reporting and analysis PC programs.
